United Producers Association lauds efforts of media to serve society

Karachi: The United Producers Association (UPA) has lauded the efforts of media for betterment of society.
UPA chairperson Atiqa Odho in a statement said the UPA would to show our support to all our friends in media that are going out daily in the line of fire to keep our people well informed on all rapidly changing developments in our country. She said we understand and appreciate that our friends in media are putting there own lives at risk daily by walking along rallies and long marches to report to our public freely and fairly.
We shall stand by you in all times of need and distress and pray that we all collectively continue to stand up and fight four our country and our people. We shall support the freedom of fair and honest reporting at all times and shall walk by our brave friends in media at all times, she said.

International Women Day: Attiqa Odho leads walk in Karachi


Renowned artist Attiqa Odho Sunday led a walk in Karachi on the occasion of International Women Day.

The participants started the walk from PIDC and marched up to Karachi Press Club.

Naib City Nazim Nasreen Jalil, Abdul Sattar Edhi and large number of women participated in the walk.

Speaking on the occasion, Attiqa Odho said women across the world including those of Pakistan are victims of oppression. She called on the men to play their due role towards putting an end to the excesses meted out to the women.

Odho said the entire Nation will have to unite for pulling the country out of the prevailing crisis.
